MainLaine Labs builds practical AI systems for small businesses that have outgrown their tools, or never really had systems in the first place.

We work with owner-led and small teams where operations feel fragile: information scattered across inboxes and apps, workflows dependent on memory, and decisions that become reactive as complexity grows.

Our role is to bring clarity. We design and ship workflows, internal tools, and lightweight applications that make work easier to run, easier to trust, and easier to scale—without adding unnecessary complexity.

We don’t sell AI as a solution.
We build systems that quietly support better judgment.

Every project at MainLaine Labs is led hands-on, with a focus on clarity, judgment, and practical impact.

Founded and led by Michele Colonna, MainLaine Labs combines the focus of a founder-led studio with access to a trusted network of specialists when projects require deeper technical or domain expertise.

This model keeps work deliberate and accountable. You always know who is leading the thinking, and you always have access to the right expertise—without unnecessary layers or noise.

  • Founder

    Michele Colonna brings a unique blend of marketing leadership, workflow automation expertise, and AI strategy to every MainLaine Labs project. With a background in building systems that bridge traditional business and emerging technology, Michele founded MainLaine Labs to help organizations unlock the real-world potential of AI, with clarity, creativity, and results. Michele is also the Founder of Colonna Contemporary, a contemporary art gallery championing digital and generative art.

    Outside of work, Michele is an avid art collector, writer and an AI and web3 enthusiast, always exploring the intersection of technology, culture, and human creativity.
